Jo Trowsdale is director of Cre8us Ltd, having been creative director for Cre8us, and previously director for Creative Partnerships, Coventry. Most recently, Jo has been involved in the delivery of the Creative Partnerships' programme to over one hundred schools across Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire. Prior to Jo's work with Creative Partnerships and Cre8us, she worked in education as a teacher, as Head of Department and as a teacher educator. Jo developed and led the Drama and English PGCE at Warwick University. She has worked with several local authorities evaluating and researching the role of practitioners to develop arts and creative skills and led inset for practitioners and teachers for over a decade.

Jo has now returned to Warwick University as an Associate Professor, working as course tutor on the Secondary PGCE Drama with English, with a particular focus on supporting 'Teach First' students- transforming exceptional graduates into effective, inspirational teachers.

Jo continues to drive the legacy of Cre8us (and Creative Partnerships' Coventry) forward as director of Cre8us Ltd.
