Claire Marshall is a consultant and project manager primarily within the arts and education sectors, driving large visions through achievable steps that are tailor made for those she works for. Working for over 14 years she has supported development and transformations in schools and communities across the Midlands and internationally.
During her career she has had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of organisations from Local Authorities to community-led resident groups and with many schools including Early Years, Primary, Secondary, SEN and a Hospital School. Claire has had a number of contracts through Creative Partnerships including as a Creative Agent with Cre8us, with relationships with some schools continuing outside and beyond the national programme.
There are two arts organisations that Claire has a continuing relationship with: for Welsh National Opera she is one of the Producers within the MAX Department and for Birmingham Hippodrom she supports the development and delivery of their larger education projects. Most recently she has become one of the Directors of 'CHANGING CULTURES'.
Claire's background begain in dance and theatre but from this her skills developed into administration, arts programming, business management, fundraising, future planning, evaluation, relationship management, coaching and mentoring. Through working with the arts, education, health, regeneration, leisure and housing secotrs she has accumulated knowledge and experience that enables informed and supportive approaches to projects and consultancy.
Claire is an active volunteer, giving time to those she has built long relationships with: She is the Chair of the Governing Body for James Brindley Hospital School, a leadership governor for Rookery Primary School and a trustee for both Active Arts Castle Vale and Big Brum TIE Company.
