Creative Careers Festival for 13-18 year olds!

  • Birmingham based 'Bright Space' are hosting a FREE two day event for 13-18 year olds...specifically highlighting careers in the creative and cultural industries.

  • The Bright Space 'Creative Careers Festival' is taking place from 28th-29th January 2011 at the mac in Birmingham.  The Festival will showcase careers within the creative and cultural industries in a unique and imaginative way - offering workshops, seminars, presentations, entertainment and lots more! 

    4Talent, The Rep, Ikon, Reel Access, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Writing West Midlands, Fused Magazine and Mohammed (Aerosol) Ali are just some of the inspiring industry speakers confirmed at the event.

    Career industries include: Dance, Digital Media, Gaming and Graphic Design, Journalism and Literature, Theatre, Photography, TV/Film and Visual Arts.

    Young people should leave the Festival with some clear next steps including use of websites, development of networks, further opportunities with local youth and cultural organisations, local colleges and recruitment possibilities - tangible routes to continue their creative careers journey!
