  • Pupils from Coventry school, Keresley Grange Primary, have been developing their natural creativity and curiosity.
  • The children from the 'Reception Year' at the school have been working on an exciting creative project they like to know as 'Naturally Curious' as part of the Creative Partnerships' Enquiry School programme.  Working alongside creative practitioner, Ellie Reynish, the children have developed their creativity and curiosity.

Ellie, an artist specialising in Early Years has also supported staff with embedding creativity into the curriculum.  Working collaboratively the children have supported their designs, provoked their thinking and have worked with various materials and stimulus to create some amazing pieces of work.  Many of the pieces created by the children have explored machines, including chocolate-making macines and sound-making machines.  The children also learnt about how real machines worked and how to use recycled and natural materials, taking apart and examining different mechanical objects to make wonderful creations.

The project culminated with an exhibition in the school hall of the children's work.

You can see some photographs from the school's year on their website: http://www.kgps.org.uk/gallery.htm

The school are very proud of what the children have achieved in the project this year and they are planning to build on their achivements during 2010-11 as they embark on a second year in the Enquiry School programme.
