  • On 13th July 2010, Coventry Belgrade Theatre hosted the ultimate entertainment challenge organised by BTEC Music students from Coundon Court School as part of their Enquiry School programme...to find out which Coventry school has the most talented musicians!
  • The group of students from Coundon Court School asked every secondary school in Coventry to compete in their 'Battle of the Bands' competition, with 12 bands signing up!

By their own admission, at the start of the project none of this talented group of Year 12 BTEC students realised exactly how much time and effort they would have to put in to hold this successful event (also raising money for the charity 'Help the Heroes')...but they pulled it off in true style!

"From this event I have learnt so many new skills and have become so much more confident with talking to new people and exploring new possibilities.  I would definately love to put on an event of this scale again...!"

One of the pupil's parents commented: "I would like to send my thanks to the school...for giving the children such a wonderful opportunity.  My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed the whole process and has learnt so much.  Helping to organise such an event has increased her confidence and left her with a thirst for more!"

Touch Radio FM presenter, Brody Swain, commented: "I couldn't believe how pro everything was.  The kids blew me away."

The Belgrade Theatre commented: "It was a pleasure working with you all, you were all very professional and ensured that we had everything that we needed...I can genuninely say, I wish all of my clients were as easy to work with!"
