All the evidence says that parents' involvement in their child's education can make a huge difference...and lots of parents have told us that one of the great things about Creative Partnerships projects is that their children really open up to them about what they are doing at school for the first time.
Report published for Creativity,Culture and Education (CCE) in October 2009 looking at children's levels of participation in cultural activities and the views of parents on the importance and benefits of providing these activities for children and young people.
The Department of Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) reveal their vision for delivering young people's access to culture, whatever their background or location.
In January 2010 Ofsted published a report which evaluates and illustrates how 44 schools across the counrty have used creative approaches to learning. The report also evaluates the impact on pupils' achievement and personal development.
Cre8us is currently working with a federation of schools in Coventry to shape the development of the curriculum and delivery of The Creative and Media Diploma.
Before taking images or videos of children under 18 or vulnerable adults you MUST have written permission from the young people's parents or guardians. It is also important to check with the school (or partner organisation) that you are adhering to its own policy on taking images of children BEFORE you photograph them.
