Creative Practitioners

People often think that we are the source of funding for existing projects - this is not the case - in fact we cannot fund projects that are not devised either by Cre8us or part of Creative Partnerships programme.

All our projects are for and about young people  -  the vast majority of them are ‘school-led’ with the idea for the enquiry and areas of development coming from the schools themselves, and based on the specific needs of the school. We then help school to recruit the appropriate creative practitioner or organisation to work in partnership with them. All prospective partners are selected by the schools through a competitive tendering process and all practitioners must be CRB checked in the Local Education Area for the schools they want to work with.

Demand to work on our programmes is very high and we cannot guarantee you work - but we can keep you informed of the large number of opportunities that arise in our partner schools. The best thing to do is to register onto our database and we will add you to our regular mailings for opportunities that we know about.
