Cre8us has worked for a number of years in close partnership with Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Local Authorities. All of these authorities have been highly supportive of the Creative Partnerships programmes we have delivered, our high quality practice and the excellent development work undertaken by our highly professional team of Creative Agents.
We have worked alongside all of our Local Authorities to ensure that all of our programmes were fully aligned with local priorities and the guiding national strategies - including those associated with the Every Child Matters agenda.
Local selection panels for our Creative Partnerships programmes included a local authority representative, and Local Authority Advisers worked closely with our local programmes ensuring broader developments contributed to shared agendas. By working together in this way, we were able to use local knowledge more effectively to develop a deeper understanding of the specific issues that our region’s schools and their young people face. Our strong relationship with Local Authorities has meant that we have been positioned to strategically direct our resources and support hundreds of young people in the region for a number of years.
