Local Authorities
Cre8us works in partnership with Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Local Education Authorities. All of these authorities are very supportive both of both the Creative Partnerships programmes we deliver and the excellent development work entitled Learning Changes that Cre8us is currently developing with our highly professional team of Creative agents.
We work very closely with all our Local Authorities to ensure that all our programmes in schools are fully aligned with their local priorities and the guiding national strategies - including those associated with the Every Child Matters agenda.
Local selection panels for our Creative Partnerships programmes usually include a local authority representative and Local Authority advisers work closely with local programmes ensuring broader developments contribute to shared agendas. By working together in this way and we are able to use local knowledge more effectively to develop a deeper understanding of the specific issues that our region’s schools and their young people face. Our strong and ongoing relationship with LA’s means that we all better positioned to strategically direct our resources and support schools as they work to address their own unique challenges.

Over the next five years more than half of Coventry’s secondary schools will be rebuilt, with the remaining schools having significant refurbishments. Coventry are seizing this programme as an opportunity for transformation, and see the potential impact across the schools and the communities that they serve as being the most significant development for the city in the last 50 years. Cre8us are working with sthese schools through their Creative Partnerships Enquiry School programme to help make comprehensive education fit for the 21st Century.
Cre8us are working cloely with the local authority and assisting schools to test bed new approaches and foster a culture of creativity, innovation and inspiration by developing innovative change management strategies. The BSF schools Cre8us are working with in Coventry are: Stoke Park School and Community Technical College, President Kennedy School and Community College and Ernesford Grange Community School.
