We work for and with young people throughout Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire. If you go to a school or college that is involved in the Creative Partnerships programme, you will already know something about the work we do. You will also know that young people like you are the centre of all our activities.
Please take a look at the some of the many projects we work on with schools and with colleges and if you would like to talk to us to suggest additional ways you would like to work with us please contact us. If you are involved in one of our projects through school or with the Creative and Media Diploma and would like us to upload media information, images or information - please contact us and we will do our very best to add your contibutions.
Tell Us TV are inviting all children and young people attending youth centres, summer clubs, and all out of school youth settings across the country to tell them in their own words why arts and culture activities are important to them...just by entering their Video Clip competition!
The competition is open to all 7-19 year olds in England, and judges will be looking for original video clips of 90 seconds, from young people answering the following question: "Why are culture and the arts important to you?" Entrants can choose how they make the film and answer the question. Judges will be looking for original and creative content, not polished footage.
All recordings should be uploaded to the Tell Us TV website: www.tellustv.co.uk/competitions where the entrants will be asked to give the name of their after school club, youth club or out of school setting. Any young person under the age of 13 must ask an adult to upload their entry to the website.
Two first prizes of three Creative Vado HD 4GB 2nd Generation High Definition Pocket Camcorders and two runner up prizes of £50.00 amazon.co.uk vouchers will be offered to the settings which provide the winning entries in the 7-13yrs and 14-19yrs categories.
Winners will be notified by Wednesday 8th September 2010
